After enjoying an amazing celebration at Columbia University, New York, with Evan and Stephanie and Neil and Jenny, we hired a car and started our adventure.
First stop was The Hampton’s to catch up with a very old colleague of Bruce’s – Earl Gandel.
From there we visited New Haven and Yale University, before heading to upstate New York State.
We dropped down to Pennsylvania to catch up on some true American history and culture.
We travelled the Blue Ridge mountains, dropping off to visit Roanoke, Winston Salem and Asheville. We rejoined where the Grey Smoky Mountains cross into Tennessee.
From there we travelled across the Carolinas to reach Wilmington for a short rest before continuing to Washington DC and back to New York City.
There was heaps we didn’t see, but lots that were interesting, insightful and fun.
