Our group tour continued from Peru into Bolivia. I had not done much research on Bolivia so everything came as a surprise – what a great way to travel.
We explored La Paz and enjoyed an escorted tour with Jimena.
Then we flew to Uyuni to see the amazing salt flats and continue on to the Bolivian Altiplano (high plains).
Travelling at between 3,500m and 4,600m above sea level was challenging.
