We never felt we had done justice to touring France, so with French car we did just that.

Well not really France, yet. Our first stop was Corsica, beautiful in Summer!

On our very long journey from Croatia to Spain we spent a wonderful night in Thiers and learnt a lot.

Our first jaunt to England, via the Atlantic coast, taking in Bordeaux, Nantes, Brittany and Normandy and detouring to northern France on the way back to see Word War I sites and Giverny. We took a quick stop closer to home for a photo opportunity at Cité de Carcassonne.

Our second jaunt was to Germany, via Lyon and the Champagne District. We stopped in Aix-en-Provence on the way home.

Somehow, I think we have now done some justice to France. More next time?
