Costa Rica

Another country that sits on the techtonic plates, subject to earthquakes and volcano eruptions.

We flew into San Jose, took a shuttle bus to Manuel Antonio to see some animals in the wild, then flew back to San Jose and onward to Mangua in Nicaragua.

As a friend commented, the Cessnas are the work horse of the 3rd world and we certainly experienced flying in smaller aircraft at 3,000 feet rather than 30,000 feet.  What a great way to see the forests and volcanic mountains of this region.
