Somewhere in Australia

Whilst our travels have taken us to many amazing countries around the world, there is always a very good excuse to stay closer to home.

Here are a few of our local adventures:

I had hurt my foot, so wasn’t very mobile. Bruce was working so I was left to discover Brisbane on my own. This is Brisbane on a bike 2009

Next was a Sunday drive across the Nullarbor between 28 August and 20 September 2011.

A new form of art was emerging in Australia and it was popular. Silos, usually disused were becoming a canvas to produce huge paintings, mostly celebrating the Australia outback. So in July 2018, in our brand new Subaru, we ventured west for An Outback Adventure

Evan arrived home from New York to attend a friend’s wedding in Rutherglen in November 2018. What an opportunity for us to take a short break with him and explore the The Road to Rutherglen

Our first venture after COVID isolation was a Bushfire relief 2021 visit to NE Victoria where bushfires had raged in 2019-2020.

Soon after we ventured Back to Yack to share a few days with family and friends.
