The highlights of our ‘family’ year was three babies and lots of time with our granddaughters.
We take Aida out for an adventure most Thursdays when we are home. She seems to have migrated from ice cream and playgrounds to ice cream and adventures. A tram ride to the city, a visit to a library or an art gallery or even the floral clock. She loved the Triennial at the NGV and found it difficult to understand it had finished.
We spent a lot of time with Brianna whilst we were in Granada – in the heat of the day, playing school, hospitals and practising mummies and daddies. As the weather cooled towards the end of our stay we got out and about for adventures, and ice creams.
A highlight was the Science Museum where she nervously got up close to some lemurs at lunch time.
Of course we are now getting to know Ronan. It warms your heart when he recognises you as you enter a room.
